Dr. Shawn Samuelson
Dr. Shawn Samuelson is a 2005 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation he did a year internship at Oakridge Equine Hospital in Edmond Oklahoma. Currently here at West Branch Animal Clinic he is a mixed animal veterinarian with emphesis on equine lameness, general health and dentistry as well as small and large animal preventive medicine and wellness. Away from the clinic, Dr. Samuelson enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children, horses, competing in calf roping and team roping and now watching his kids compete also.
Dr. Alan Beyer
Dr. Alan Beyer is a graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He is married and has a daughter. Following graduation he returned to South Dakota to practice for a short time and then moved to West Branch where he has lived and practiced ever since. Dr. Beyer enjoys many volunteer opportunities in church, professional and service organizations. He is on the Animal Control Commision here in West Branch, Cedar County Extension, Cedar County Board of Health and enjoys working with 4-H. His hobbies include sports, fishing and reading.
Dr. Jessica Klein
Dr. Jessica Klein recently graduated from Iowa State University and has an interest in all aspects of mixed animal medicine. She is originally from the Iowa City area and is excited to be back! In her free time, Dr. Klein enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog Casper and cat Misty, attending Hawkeye AND Cyclone sporting events, and staying active with activities such as volleyball, running, biking, and yoga.
